He has been in CEO / President roles since 1997, at companies as diverse as GE Capital, MasterCard, and Rediff.com.
Nitin was earlier with one of the world's leading executive search consulting firms. He advised and partnered with leading global and Indian clients to help them recruit CEOs, CXOs and Board Directors for their organizations.
During 2000-03 Nitin was with MasterCard Worldwide as their CEO and Country Manager for South Asia. Earlier, Nitin was the President of Rediff.com, one of Asia’s most successful Internet companies, where he helped lead the company’s successful listing on the NASDAQ.
In 1997-2000 Nitin worked in financial services as President of GE Capital India’s retail financing business, and before that in marketing and advertising (Unilever, American Express, J. Walter Thompson).
A former board member of LetsBuy, GE Capital TFS, ApnaLoan and Travel Jini, Nitin has also served on the Confederation of Indian Industries’ banking and e-commerce and payments committees. He has been involved with early-stage companies as a mentor, angel investor and Board Director.
Nitin is an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad, holds a law degree from Bombay University, and is an economics honours graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
